I work as a lecturer at the Department of Applied IT at the University of Gothenburg. After the summer 2010, I will be working at the Department of Computer Science at Chalmers University of Technology. In my spare time, I'm executive director for the Society for Free Culture and Software (where I organise the Free Society Conference and Nordic Summit), as well as my company Complex 99.

For many years, I served as the vice president for the Free Software Foundation Europe, worked with the GNU Project, Debian and the Free Software Foundation Europe. I also used to work for the University West and the Mälardalen University.
